For all you oklahoma people out there that never got to cry your eyes out as the worlds three hottest guys played your favorite songs, you now have the chance. SMF will be playing a reunion, wednesday the 5th of march (substituting stewart clem for blake walker) at jason christian's house in stillwater, ok. the house is on the first block of ramsay street; its a big house, you can't miss it. the show should start around nine

the show is free. also playing that night is stillwater's own 'ice walters' the only band to play a lap steel and not sound like a bunch of hicks.

lance will be playing for a band called "miracle vs. man" who is currently signed on esotype records. he is still going to school at the university of houston, only now studying anything that is not music.

kris is still attending school, and working at the great harvest bread co. his new project is called "the jessica star" and is made up of people in the spring area. he will undoubtedly be playing the houston scene. plans for a white noise band were in the works, when i left him at the bakery.

blake is finishing up his last year of highschool, and probably chasing girls. last i heard there was talk of him starting some sort of musical ensemble with a friend named grady. he as taken greatly to the guitar, and will probably be a prolific songwriter.

elyse still listens to too much ska. she's on her last year of highschool aswell, and probably won't be playing anything but her boyfriend.(just kidding)

i (ray) am back in stillwater, oklahoma, trying to get a degree. i'm not sure where music will take me. i've been tracking a few songs on my computer, and am supposed to practice with a few guys, with the hopes of recording and submitting to emodiarys #9. with my luck, i'll end up in something like realestate.

i'm sitting here listening to the songs. i can still remember where i was when i penned the lyrics, or put the chords together. it was fun, i guess, but to be really trite "all good things must come to an end." i guess that's true with alot of things; bands, girls, friendships, tastes, and attitudes.

it is my sincere hope, that sound michael furey entertained you. i hope you've laughed, cried, smiled, and frowned to these songs. i've hope you've made out to them, and i hope you've broken up with them playing in the background. i hope you shared them with your parents, and sibelings; with your friends and enemies. i hope they've reminded you of other songs you like, and songs you can't stand. i hope you've said "wow, those guys are cool" and i hope you've said (probably more likely) "gee those guys are morons."

although you probably lost the cd, in a pile of things you were planning on throwing out, i hope you gave it at least one listen, and thought about what they meant to you.
